Nestled on a hillside near the French Broad river, The Partridge Nest is a sophisticated, yet, rustic, Blue Ridge Mountain cottage located at Partridge Hill in Pisgah Forest, North Carolina. The cottage features two inviting bedrooms with queen-sized beds, two full baths, and an additional sleeping area in the writer's loft overlooking the great room. Amenities include a full kitchen, dining area, wood-burning stone fireplace, Cable TV with VCR/DVD and a screened porch with a Blue Ridge Mountain view.

An ideal romantic get-away spot, the cottage sits on nine acres secluded from the Partridge Hill main house where Thomas Wolfe was a frequent visitor in the 30's during the ownership of the author Hamilton Basso. The cottage affords privacy, yet is conveniently located near fine restaurants and other attractions in the town of Brevard which is only four miles away. The Brevard Music Center and the Pisgah National Forest, where you will find some of the finest hiking and trout fishing in the East, are only minutes away as well.

You will forget time as you sit on the old-fashion porch swing enjoying the mountain view or reading a book in the cozy loft. You will return to the real world rested, renewed, and looking forward to your next visit to The Partridge Nest.
